Jydo is a small blog engine that I created for this website. It generates fully standard content (in XHTML+CSS) while taking care of internationalisation without the traditional couple PHP/MySQL. Data are stored as XML files and content is generated by XSL stylesheets. The blog engine is hence a simple script written in the Python language and using the 4suite libraries to parse the XSL stylesheets and apply them automatically to the corresponding XML files. The blog entries may contain several translations that will be used by the engine to create distinct copies of the website in various languages. This is still experimental, but rocks!
